Creating an Irish beauty brand for an Asian market. Akara is a range of beauty products aimed at salons and the beauty professional globally. We needed to clearly define its position as both a b2b product that clearly orginates in the western world in the first instance and communicate its premium product range of gel nail polish with a distinctive offering. We named the brand Akara for its friendly meaning and personality, its Irish association and its ability to get noticed. A core principle of the company being education, partnership and guidance for its clients. Cara Croí, its UV gel polish range houses 15 collections which we named after famous women to continue the warm feminine approach, adding lots of personality to help build the brand.
